We got a free upgrade to a higher floor (14th floor) , which was greatly appreciated! Roberto and Maria by the reception are simply amazing!!! The location is great , close to the old town , metro line and short bolt rides to all destinations. The view from the room is amazing ( we were lucky to catch a beautiful sunset just on our arrival, and sunrise the next morning). The cleaning service excellent , the room service and breakfast personnel excellent as well ! also tasty Breakfast with many options! The restaurant at the top floor was a great option as we arrived late and they offer a 15% discount for the hotel guests. The pool experience (I was lucky enough to be alone there at a Monday morning ) at the top floor with excellent views and warm sun coming from the large windows was so relaxing ! Good value for money for a 5 star hotel, we definitely coming back at our next trip to Bucharest !

The Hotel itself is old but they have maintained the rooms clean and comfortable. The bed is comfortable and the air-conditioning was quiete. The buffet food has a lot of selection and was all tasty and delicious. Complements to the chefs, I enjoyed it a lot. The location was accessible by walking, public transport is just around the corner bus, metro, taxis. Is nearby to Old Town, the Parliament House is walkable. I would recommend the Hotel for everyone who is not bothered with personal service but for the location and the sightseeing around that it offers. The pool, gym and Sauna was on the top floor which I thought would be using but never had the time to use it. The Thermae was an absolute pleasure. Restaurants are just everywhere to choose from. Overall the price in Bucharest is reasonable and most people speaks English, young people can be trusted to help you. I hope to be back!

We loved our stay at Grand Hotel Bucharest. The hotel is located right in the centre. Very close to Old Town. The personnel working there are all so friendly and professional. Special mention goes to Ema at the reception. She was very friendly, polite and accommodating. Thank you so much Ema for extending our check out time. Breakfast was delicious. Lots of choices. The chef was also making omelet on request. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. It was lovely to have in our room a fresh fruits on arrival and also to have bottled water replenished every day. We had such an amazing view of the city from the 17th floor. We'll definitely come back there to stay on our next visit to Bucharest.

My stay at this hotel was very pleasant overall, came late at night and was met by a 24h reception, all my requests were met such as higher floor, and a bath in the room, the location of the hotel is perfect, its right in the center and has bus stop/metro station just couple of minutes away, staff was kind and attentive and answered all my questions, beds were comfortable and bathroom facilities were good too, balcony with a city view was a nice addition too, my flight was later in the evening and i've requested a later check out and luckily was granted it without additional costs, thank you

I left a note that we are spending a night to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday and they expected us wirh a cake in the room, which was amazing. The front desk staff was very professional and nice. The pool water was warm, the room view was breathtaking. The guy who prepares the omlettes at the breakfast bar was very nice to us, we thought he was also serving pancakes and ordered some, but then saw that it’s only omlettes and apologized. He was very nice and said he will ask the kitchen to prepare 2 pancakes, which they did. Amazing experience and amazing pancakes.
